Well, this might not be as big as R.E.P.O or PEAK, but it’s a co-op game that you’ll enjoy for sure. Pratfall is an upcoming co-op action-adventure indie game from developer and publisher Quad Head.
The project has been in development since 2025, runs on the Godot engine, and will release on April 20th, 2026, on PC via Steam. The devs already released a demo on Steam, which went live back in January this year.
After all, isn’t a group of friends trying to help, but somehow making everything worse is what we’re looking for?
Pratfall is a co-op, which is about going down, literally! You are in a dog park, there’s a construction site nearby, and your dog has fallen into a hole.
The game hands you a helmet, a pickaxe, and the option to drag a few friends along for the mess that follows. The goal is to rescue your dog, but getting there means dealing with a wicked cave system first. Traps and hazards are everywhere.
Pratfall is playable solo, with offline single-player also available. But it’s very clearly built around co-op, supporting online play for up to 4 friends. You can catch each other mid-fall, revive teammates if they go down, or just mess around.
Food helps recover from injuries, while ziplines let you cross big gaps. Tools like pickaxes, drills, and magic beans let you carve your own path when the terrain is not cooperating. Take a look at the game below.
Every run plays out differently due to three procedurally generated biomes, specifically Dirt Cave, Ice Cave, and Lava Cave. There are 30+ items, a Weekly Challenge Mode with leaderboards, 25 Steam Achievements, and over 80 cosmetics as well.
The game will launch with a 20% discount on its full price of $7.99. There’s also full key remapping and gamepad support.
