Talk the Talk is a friendship quest for Ulfe in Palia. Friendship with Ulfe unlocks after completing the main story of Elderwood. Ulfe seems to remember his past life. How to Complete the Talk the Talk Quest in Palia
The Talk the Talk quest becomes available after reaching Friendship Level 3 with Ulfe and completing the “Nightly Terrors” quest. Speak with Ulfe daily and bring him his favorite gifts to easily increase the friendship level. At friendship level 3, Tamala will pay you a visit at the housing plot. Speak with Tamala to see what’s going on with Ulfe, and the Talk the Talk quest will start.
Speak with Ulfe about his feelings
After speaking with Tamala at the housing plot, go to Elderwood and find Ulfe. Speak with Ulfe about what he has been feeling about his past life.
Find someone who can relate to Ulfe
Ulfe had a tragic past, and to comfort him, you must find someone who can relate to Ulfe. There will be no quest marker on the map to guide you to a villager. You need to speak with villagers and ask them questions to find the correct person. The correct person you are looking for in the quest is “Tish”. Go to Tish and speak with her about Ulfe’s nightmares. She will understand his situation as she also had a rough childhood.
Check on Ulfe
Now, go back to the Elderwood and speak with Ulfe. Tish will join the conversation and try to find a solution for his nightmares. Ulfe will tell you about a glowing book, but reading it is difficult. Tish will give you a recipe to make a Flow Lantern at the Relic Station.
Build the Flow Lantern
Head over to the Relic Station at the Central Stables in Elderwood and select the Flow Lantern. It will require the following materials to craft a Flow Lantern.
2x Platinum Bar
4x Glass Pane
Once you have the materials, select the Flow Lantern recipe at the Relic Station to craft it. Now, go back to Tish and speak with her.
Read the Journal with the Flow Lantern equipped
Tish will give you a journal from Ulfe. Before reading it, you need to equip the Flow Lantern. Open the inventory and equip the Flow Lantern, and then navigate to the quest items to read the Journal. Once done, go back to Ulfe to ask about the book.
Ask Tamala to read the Book
Lastly, go to Tamala and ask her if she can figure out the book. Go through the dialogues to conclude the quest.
