Sleepless in the Elderwood is a friendship quest for Ulfe in Palia. After completing the main story of Elderwood, players can raise their friendship level with Ulfe to trigger this quest. Ulfe is suffering from insomnia, and you must help Tamala to create a sleeping potion for Ulfe. In this guide, we will walk you through the Sleepless in the Elderwood quest in Palia.
How to Complete the Sleepless in the Elderwood Quest
The Sleepless in the Elderwood quest becomes available upon reaching Friendship Level 1 with Ulfe. Speak with Ulfe daily and give him his favorite gifts to easily raise the friendship level. As you reach Friendship Level 1 with Ulfe, a quest icon will appear on Nai’o. Speak with Nai’o to learn about Ulfe’s condition, triggering the Sleepless in the Elderwood quest.
Talk to Tamala and Gather the Ingredients
Head to Tamala and ask her for help to make a sleeping potion for Ulfe. Go through the dialogues, and Tamala will ask you to gather the following ingredients.
500 Infected Essence: A glowing purple orb on the ground, which you can collect by interacting with it. Moreover, hunting/catching/fishing the infected creatures will also give you some infected essence.
3x Elderwood Orchid: Grow beneath the large trees in the Deep Woods area of Elderwood.
2x Nightshadow Batterfly: Spawn in the Elderwood Caves and Deep Woods areas during the evening and night (6 PM to 3 AM).
NOTE: If you see a dark aura around Elderwood Orchids or Nightshadow Batterflies, you will have to use the Elderwood Potion or the Bag of Illusion Relic to get them.
After gathering all of the ingredients, return to Tamala. Give her all the ingredients for the Sleeping Potion.
Deliver the potion to Ulfe
Now, head to Ulfe and give him the sleeping potion. Go through the dialogues, and the Sleepless in the Elderwood quest will conclude.
