My Bite By Night Class Tier List looks at the roles and abilities of each class, ranking them from best to worst depending on how handy they are to have on your team. Check out our Bite by Night Classes guide for a more in-depth analysis.

I’m quite the fan of Bite by Night, as it’s a combination of Dead by Daylight and Five Nights at Freddy’s, two of my favourite games.

Bite By Night Class Tier List

There are four classes available in Bite by Night right now, with one being a freebie, and the others requiring in-game purchases. Don’t waste your currency on those that don’t suit your playstyle. There’s always a chance that another player will fill the role of a class you don’t have anyway.

S Tier

Security Guard
Role:
Support
How to Get:
TBC
Walking Speed:
TBC
Sprinting Speed:
TBC
Abilities:
Taser
You have a taser, which you can use to attack the Killers. This weapon needs to charge up before use, which reduces your movement speed. After shocking a Killer, you inflict them with the Slow debuff, which scales off of the charge of the taser
Cams
View security camera footage via a tablet to see where the Killers are. You can highlight the Killers and Generators so that all Survivors can see them

The Cams ability pushes this class all the way to S-tier due to the usefulness of the security cameras. By highlighting the Killers and Generators in red, your allies will find it easier to know when and where to hide

A Tier

Medic
Role:
Healer
How to Get:
Costs 400
Walking Speed:
12
Sprinting Speed:
24
Abilities:
Heal
Replenish the HP of your allies
Self Heal
Replenish your own HP

The Medic is an all-around useful class to have on your team, as they are the only class that provides healing to allies and not just themselves

B Tier

Fighter
Role:
Stunner
How to Get:
Costs 600
Walking Speed:
12
Sprinting Speed:
24
Abilities:
Swing
Lunge forward to strike the Killer with an axe of fire, stunning them for 5 seconds and inflicting them with 3 debuffs. These debuffs depend on how many Parry Charges you have
Parry
Block an incoming melee attack, gaining a Parry Charge, which you can use with the Swing ability

A purely offensive class, the Fighter can block attacks and deal damage to protect themselves and their allies. This does mean getting up close and personal, which comes with risks. This class is also reliant on successful parries to gain Parry Charges to strengthen the Swing ability

C Tier

Customer
Role:
Survivalist
How to Get:
Every player gets this class for free
Sprinting Speed:
24
Abilities:
Pizza
Eat some pizza to replenish 20% of your HPHas a cooldown of 25 seconds
Drink
Take a sip of soda for a speed boost. Once the buff ends, you gain the Slowness debuff

With this being the free class that every player starts with, it’s not going to be overly impressive. It’s useful for when you’re new to the game, as you can replenish your HP and boost your speed whilst getting used to the game’s mechanics

Frequently Asked Questions

Will More Classes Be Added to Bite by Night?

If the game is successful enough at launch, then I don’t see why not. Leading up to its release, Bite by Night has had a lot of hype around it, so there’s already some popularity there from the get-go.

As of right now, there are no upcoming classes, but only time will tell.
