“You can’t do this on your own!” ITV has revealed the first look trailer for a new streaming series coming out in the UK soon called Secret Service, which is a very bland and generic title for another interesting series about politicians and the inner workings of the government. This Secret Service is not so much about a secret security force protecting politicians, but rather a secret intelligence officer working within the UK government. A British intelligence officer races against time to uncover a UK politician’s potential ties with the Kremlin, risking her reputation and family, as a murder and election loom. The head of the Russia Desk of the British Secret Intelligence Service learns a senior British politician could be a potential Russian asset. But who is it and what can she do about it? Starring Gemma Arterton as MI6 officer Kate Henderson, along with Rafe Spall, Alexander Terentyev, Roger Allam as C, Avi Nash as Rev, Mark Stanley, Alex Kingston, Amaka Okafor, Khalid Abdalla.
