An intriguing upcoming PS5 and PS4 action RPG stealth released a free demo on the PS Store last night. Brought to us by Sōhei Niikawa of Disgaea fame, Etrange Overlord is described as a “frenetic” RPG about “living your best afterlife.”
All PS5 and PS4 players can try RPG Etrange Overlord ahead of launch
Eternal Overlord will release globally on March 26 for the PS5, PS4, Nintendo Switch, and PC. An Xbox release has not been announced. In the West, the game will be published by NIS America.
The demo is available to all players regardless of platform. However, PS Plus is required for online play. Eternal Overlord supports up to four players online.
Those interested in the demo can check out the first few hours of Eternal Overlord, with save data carrying over to the full game.
“Étrange von Rosenburg is falsely accused of assassinating the king and is executed,” a synopsis reads. “Waking up in hell with no sweets in sight, she decides she’ll just have to take the whole place over. Enjoy gorgeous character designs by legendary illustrator Shinichiro Otsuka as Étrange and her allies ride, fight, and even sing their way across hell.”
