As players continue to rehabilitate a ruined island, they will come across the “Campsite” habitat. This habitat requires three different items, which you can craft early in the game.

How to Restore Campsite Habitat

To restore the Campsite habitat, you have to place a Straw Table, a Straw Stool, and a Campfire in a 2×2 grid. You can find the recipes for the Straw Table and Straw Stool by exploring the Withered Wasteland zone. After getting the recipes, you can craft these items at the workbench.

Straw Stool: 1x Leaf

Straw Table: 1x Leaf and 1x Stone

Campfire: 1x Sturdy Stick and 1x Stone

Now, place the items on the ground, and put the Campfire next to the Straw Table, like in the habitat information. Moreover, make sure that the campfire is lit up. You can ask Charmander to help you light the campfire. Once done, the place will be highlighted, restoring the campsite habitat.

Meet Charmeleon at the Campsite

After restoring the Campsite habitat, you will have to wait a bit for a Pokémon to stop by. Now, wait until you see Charmeleon hanging around the campsite. Speak with Charmeleon and go through the dialogues to unlock Charmeleon.

NOTE: It can take around 10-15 minutes for Charmeleon to appear.

Charmeleon is a Fire-Type Pokémon with the “Burn” specialty. You can ask him to process various resources to get useful materials, like bricks. Moreover, you can ask Charmeleon to follow you and help ignite the campfire or ignite a furnace to make metals.
