To unlock the Glide in Pokémon Pokopia, you must restore the Waterside Dinghy habitat for Dragonite.
Restore the Waterside Dinghy Habitat
The Waterside Dinghy habitat is the primary requirement for unlocking Dragonite Pokémon. Dragonite Pokémon is found in the Sparkling Skylands zone. To get there, you will have to raise the Pokedex rank to Ultra. Once you are in Sparkling Skylands, you first need to befriend Froakie by restoring the Hydrated Pink Tall Grass habitat. Place 4x pink tall grass near the water to unlock Froakie. After that, speak with Froakie to get a hint on how to unlock Dragonite. He will tell you about the Waterside Dinghy habitat.
Head east from the Pokémon Center and climb up the blocks to find a canoe in the water. This is where you need to restore the habitat. However, you cannot place simple leaves in the water; you must power up the Leafage move. To do so, head to the cooking station near the water and make a Simple Salad by adding two Leaves. Consume the Simple Salad to power up the Leafage.
Now, go inside the water and use the Leafage move beside the canoe to raise two Duckweeds. It will restore the Waterside Dinghy habitat. Now, wait for a few minutes for Dragonite to show up. Speak with Dragonite, and he will teach you the Glide move.
How to Use the Glide in Pokémon Pokopia
To use the Glide in Pokémon Pokopia, you have to press the R button in the air. It is not a transformation move, but a permanent feature. You can freely glide to fly across distant areas.
