First Teaser for Yuen Woo-Ping’s ‘Blades of the Guardians’ Action Film

“Once the blades are unsheathed, chaos is sure to follow.” It exists! Well Go USA has revealed the first look teaser for a new martial arts action thriller called Blades of the Guardians, the latest movie directed by martial arts master Yuen Woo-ping. He’s best known for the Drunken Master and Iron Monkey movies (and tons of others), as well as the action direction in The Matrix and Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon and many more. This is his latest new movie since directing Master Z: Ip Man Legacy in 2018. Dao Ma, the “second most wanted fugitive,” is entrusted by his benefactor, chief of Mo family clan, to take on an escort mission by escorting the “most wanted fugitive” to Chang’an. Starring Wu Jing as Dao Ma & Nicholas Tse as Diting, Yu Shi, Chen Lijun, Sun Yizhou, Ci Sha, Li Yunxiao, Tony Leung Ka-fai, Zhang Jin, Kara Wai, with Zhang Yi and Jet Li. From all this first look footage it seems like – yep we’ve got another certified martial arts banger on the way!
