Exploring the map is essential to locating all the different zones, which will make planning easier for you. You will be able to find biome-specific materials easily. Where to Find Azure Kelp in Hytale – Primary Location
Azure Kelp spawns in the Azure biome. It is a blue zone on the map and is hard to miss due to its unique atmosphere. You can spot this zone easily from a distance by spotting the blue trees. Make your way to the Azure Kelp biome and look for ponds or water patches in the biome. The Azure Kelp spawns inside the water patches in the Azure biome. Jump inside the water and pick up Azure Kelp on the ground.
From every water patch inside the Azure biome, you will get 1-2 Azure Kelp. So, while in the zone, go to every water patch to get as many Azure Kelp as you can.
Secondary Location for Azure Kelp
In addition to the primary spawn location of Azure Kelp, there is another possible spawn location, which seems to be a gold mine of it. Azure Kelp seems to spawn inside the big ponds in the Howling Sands, the desert zone. If you have located any big pond inside the desert zone, it is better to check the spot to find any Azure Kelp. Similar to the Azure biome, the Azure Kelp grows on the ground inside the water in the desert zone. Due to big area of water, it spawns in large quantities.
If you are out to find Thorium Ores in Howling Sands, make a stop at a pond or water patch in the area to get some Azure Kelp as well.
