“You found me off my square. Do what you need to do.” Simeon has revealed the full official trailer for the film Moses the Black, a Chicago story about gangs in the city. It’s set for a theatrical release at the end of January coming up next month. The story of a gangster in modern day Chicago inspired by an incredible story of repentance of the 4th century saint of the same name. A gripping fusion of suspense, moral courage, and modern relevance. Moses the Black follows one gangster’s journey of reckoning. Omar Epps stars as Chicago gang leader Malik, with Wiz Khalifa as 2wo-3ree, confident & volatile head of Malik’s young crew, locked in a power struggle for control against rival gang leader Straw, played by Quavo. The role of St. Moses the Black is played by Chukwudi Iwuji. The cast includes Corey Hendrix, Cliff Chamberlain, Ahmad Ferguson, Sambou “Bubba” Camara, Kierra Bunch, Skilla Baby, and Deontay Wilder. Presented by Simeon Faith, NM Cinematic Fund, & Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson. This full trailer is filled with excessive violence but it seems the point is that this isn’t going to lead to anything good if it all keeps going. // Continue Reading ›
