What Are Ore Traits

Traits are hidden abilities that some Ores passively carry, which they then apply to certain equipment pieces. These Traits include armour and weapon buffs and debuffs.

When forging, taking into consideration the multiplier and Trait of an Ore is the best way to curate your own overpowered build based on your playstyle.

For example, using Darkryte on Armour will increase your survivability as you’ll have an increased chance at dodging incoming enemy attacks and taking no damage. On top of this, it has a naturally high 6.3x multiplier, making it a formidable Ore choice if you want a high DEF armour piece.

Used in a weapon, Darkryte’s innate Trait won’t apply, so the weapon will only harness its DMG scale from its high multiplier.
