The best Fischmas rod is one that offers strong stats with great and unique passive abilities. Our choice of rod is the Santa’s Miracle Rod!
Why Santa’s Miracle Rod is the Best Fischmas Rod
So, why have we picked this rod? Well, let’s first look at its stats. With a Lure Speed and Luck of 125%, you can quickly catch fish and have a much higher chance of getting rare catches. No more slow fishing!
With a Control stat of 0.25, the bar during the fishing minigames takes up 55% of the space, making it fairly easy to catch trickier fish. Plus, Santa’s Miracle Rod has an infinite Maximum Weight, so there are no obstacles when trying to go for the larger fish, including those that are rare.
On the passive ability side of things, you’ve got a 20% chance of catching fish with the Santa mutation, which increases the selling value by 8.5 – pretty good! Then, there’s a 10% chance of catching a fish with one of three possible mutations – Merry, Peppermint, or Gingerbread, all of which increase the selling value of the fish by 5x.
Additionally, there’s a 10% chance to gift a fish you catch to all players on the server. A true act of kindness! But, this is also useful for you if someone else is using Santa’s Miracle Rod instead. And yes, this can be any fish. When other players get the gifted fish, its weight is random, and it will have no mutations whatsoever.
And lastly, there’s an extra minigame within the fishing minigame when using Santa’s Miracle Rod. Presents start to fall above the bar, and if you manage to catch them whilst using the bar, your Progress increases by 10%. With a 125% Lure Speed, this extra Progress speeds it up even more.
How to Get Santa’s Miracle Rod
To obtain this fishing rod, you need to complete five of Santa’s Fischmas quests.
The 5th quest (called ‘Present Delivery‘) involves delivering gifts to 10 snowmen at Glacial Ridge and trading presents with 10 players. After the completion of this quest, you get Santa’s Miracle Rod as a reward. You also unlock the last task in Santa’s questline!
