The Pumpkin and the Princess is a friendship quest for the Fairy Godmother in Disney Dreamlight Valley. It is one of the main unlock requirements for unlocking Cinderella. This quest starts automatically after completing the Miracles Take Time quest and picking up the Lost Shoe in the Plaza. Read the Letter from the Fairy Godmother
Upon completing the Miracles Take Time quest, you will receive a letter from the Fairy Godmother. Go to the mailbox outside the player’s house and read the letter.
Pick up the Lost Shoe
After reading the Fairy Godmother’s letter, the Lost Shoe will spawn on the staircase of the Plaza leading to the Peaceful Meadow. Go over to the staircase and pick up the lost shoe to trigger the Pumpkin and the Princess quest.
Bring the Lost Shoe to the Fairy Godmother
Once the quest has begun, go to the Fairy Godmother’s House and give her the Lost Shoe. Go through the dialogues, and she will tell you to craft a Wish Enchantment.
Craft the Wish Enchantment
Gather the following materials to craft the Wish Enchantment.
5x Ginger: Forage off the ground in the Forgotten Lands biome.
5x Gooseberry: Harvest from the Gooseberry Bushes in the Frosted Heights and Forgotten Lands biomes.
1x Orange Nasturtium: Forage off the ground in the Forgotten Lands biome.
1x Diamond: Mine the mining nodes in the Forgotten Lands biome.
After gathering all of the materials, go to any crafting station. Navigate to the Potion & Enchantment tab to find the recipe for Wish Enchantment. Craft the Wish Enchantment and then use it from the inventory.
Plant and Water the Small Spell Pumpkin
Now, go to the Fairy Godmother’s House and discuss the small spell pumpkin. She will give you the small spell pumpkin to plant anywhere in the Valley. Leave the Fairy Godmother’s House and plant the Small Spell Pumpkin. After that, plant the pumpkin. Now, wait for 15 minutes for the Small Spell Pumpkin to mature. Once done, harvest the spell pumpkin, but it will vanish.
Retrieve the Spell Pumpkin
Now, find the Fairy Godmother and tell her about the spell pumpkin. She will advise you to ask Remy if he has Spell Pumpkin. Go to the restaurant and speak with Remy about the Spell Pumpkin. Remy will hand you the Spell Pumpkin. Now, go back to the Fairy Godmother and show her the Spell Pumpkin.
Place and Build Cinderella’s House
Now, find a suitable location to place Cinderella’s House. Open the furniture mode and place the house. Once done, walk over to Scrooge’s sign and interact with it to build Cinderella’s House for 15,000 Star Coins.
Place the Spell Pumpkin and Appropriate Furniture Items
Now, go close to the wishing well in the Plaza and place the Spell Pumpkin and any 8 Elegant White, Yellow, or Blue furniture items. The furniture items are crucial for the spell to work. Open the furniture mode to see all the eligible furniture items. After placing all the items and Spell Pumpkin, interact with the Pumpkin to bring Cinderella to the Valley.
Welcome Cinderella
As Cinderella arrives in the Valley, take a picture with her and welcome her. Once done, speak with the Fairy Godmother and go through the dialogues to conclude the quest.
Rewards
Completing the Pumpkin and the Princess quest for the Fairy Godmother in Disney Dreamlight Valley unlocks Cinderella as a reward.
