How To Get Arcane Crystal Ore in The Forge
Being the rarest natural Ore of the Goblin Caves, the Arcane Crystal Ore is one of the best late-game ores for forging during the BETA release. Identified by its jagged crystal-like edges, this silver ore appears in Cyan formations, Earth formations, and Light Crystals.
Given the minerals’ rare encounter chance, I recommend obtaining a Pickaxe with a high affinity for Luck, such as the Arcane Pickaxe from Fallen Angels Cave. The name irony for this duo isn’t wasted on me.
How to get into the Goblin Cave
The Goblin Cave is a sub-location within the Forgotten Kingdom, found by entering the small Goblin camp. (Follow the cobbled road leading straight past the Runemaker and Enhancer).
To gain entry to the Cave, you must complete a series of quests for the Goblin King, retrieving specific Ores, and paying him your hard-earned Gold. After investing around $85k, he will give you the Goblin Key, granting you permanent access to the Goblin Cave.

Q: Is the Arcane Crystal Ore better to forge with or sell?
A: It’s worth a lot of money per piece, but it also has a high Multiplier value, making it a difficult answer. Given its encounter chance being 1 in every 100,000 mines, I think selling it is better, as otherwise it’d take too long to cobble enough pieces of it together to make a decent forge with.Note: Its Multiplier will enhance any equipment, but sometimes Multipliers drop when poorly synergised with other Minerals, hence the answer. I think forging is only worthwhile if you can guarantee a high Multiplier and retain the value of all invested ore.
Q: Is it the rarest Ore in the game as of the BETA release?
A: Nope! That would be the Galaxite, with a 1 in 1 million encounter chance. The Arcane Crystal Ore is, however, the rarest Ore within the Goblin Caves.
Q: Is unlocking the Goblin Cave worth it?
A: Yes! Not only is this the area where you need to complete Tomo’s Lost Cat Quest, but the Goblin Cave is home to a new index of Ores and Mobs that you won’t find anywhere else.
Q: Should I use Arcane Crystal Ore when making Armour or Weapons?
A: As it has no Trait to set it apart, this Ore is versatile, meaning it can be used for either, if you don’t agree with my suggestion to sell it, that is.
