Sony has yet to reveal the list of games leaving PS Plus Extra and Premium in January 2026, and we’re back with our monthly predictions for upcoming departures based on established patterns. Players who haven’t jumped into PS5, PS4 console exclusive God of War Ragnarok yet are advised to do so now.
Games expected to leave PS Plus Extra and Premium in January 2026
Here’s your monthly reminder that games tend to leave the service either at the 12-month or the 24-month mark, depending on the publisher. Occasionally, you’ll see games leaving PS Plus after six months, too.
The biggest new game that was added a year ago, in January 2025, is God of War Ragnarok. Yes, Sony first-party games do leave the service, so you might want to wrap this one up. Other notable games added a year ago that are still on the service include Like a Dragon Gaiden: The Man Who Erased His Name, Atlas Fallen: Reign of Sand, Sayonara Wild Hearts, ANNO: Mutationem, and Citizen Sleeper.
Among the games that were added two years ago, the following are still on PS Plus and may be pulled next month: Lego City: Undercover, Session: Skate Sim, and Surviving the Aftermath.
As for games added six months ago, we don’t expect any of the July 2025 PS Plus catalog additions to leave, but players should keep an eye on Cyberpunk 2077.
