Fan-Favorite PS4 First-Person Shooter Is Less Than $5 on PS Store

Sony Interactive Entertainment is closing out 2025 with its End of Year Deals sale on the PS Store, which lets PS4 and PS5 players save up to 75% on some of the best video games on the digital storefront. That includes this fan-favorite PS4 first-person shooter that was originally released in 2016 and has aged incredibly well after nearly a decade.

Doom is less than $5 on the PS Store

Developed by id Software and published by Bethesda, Doom is currently $3.99 on the PS Store. That is an 80% discount off its typical $19.99 price tag. PS4 and PS5 players who want to take advantage of this deal will want to act fast. The offer ends on December 16 at 3 a.m. ET.

When Doom was originally released for the PS4 in 2016, it received favorable reviews. According to the review aggregate site Metacritic, it received an average score of 85 across 63 critic reviews. In our review, we gave it an 8 out of 10.
