The Forge Runes List – How to Find Runes

All Runes

Frost Speck

Ice
Freeze enemies for a short period of time

Chill Dust

Snow
Slows enemies down, reducing their movement speed and attack speed

Flame Spark

Burn I
Deals Fire DMG based on a percentage of your pickaxe/weapon’s DMG for a few seconds

Venom Crumb

Poison
Deals Poison DMG based on a percentage of your pickaxe/weapon’s DMGPoison deals DMG over time for a few seconds

Miner Shard

Yield I
There is a 5% chance of an extra ore dropping when you mine

Drain Edge

Life Steal I
Replenishes HP based on 12% of Physical DMG dealt
Lethality I
Physical DMG increases by 15%

Rage Mark

Berserk
When your HP is below 35%, Berserk mode activates, increasing your Physical DMG and Attack Speed

Ward Patch

Shield I
14% chance of reducing incoming Physical DMG by 13%
Stride I
Dash distance increases by 11%

Blast Chip

Explosion
When you hit an enemy, summon an explosion which deals AoE DMG based on a percentage of your pickaxe/weapon’s DMG

Rot Stitch

Toxic Veins
Summons an AoE around your character which deals 9% Poison DMG for 8 seconds (cooldown of 35 seconds)This ability activates once your HP is below 35%
Stride I
Dash distance increases by 11%

How to Get Runes in The Forge

Runes are randomly found around the map, which you can equip to your pickaxe/weapon by visiting the Runemaker in Stonewake’s Cross Village.

When speaking with the Runemaker, you can select a pickaxe or weapon that you wish to equip a Rune to. Select the Rune you want to add and pay with in-game coins!

Equipment cannot be equipped with Runes until they are +3. However, some pickaxes automatically have Rune slots available. If you have any Runes that you do not wish to use, you can head to the Cave to find Greedy Cey, who will buy Runes off of you.
