Goofy Italian Comedy ‘Sicily Express’ Trailer – A Magical Garbage Bin

“Work in Milan and sleep in Sicily? This Christmas, it will be possible.” Ha! I wonder if this a funny concept only Italians will understand? Netflix has revealed an official trailer for a an extra wacky comedy mini-series titled Sicily Express, ready for streaming on Netflix starting in early December. Another holiday offering from Netflix – this one is really made just for Italians to laugh about. With Christmas around the corner, two blundering Sicilian friends working in Milan discover a dumpster that transports them to their families in seconds. It’s a fun concept where this trash bin allows them to travel instantly between North Italy (where Milan is) and South Italy (where Sicily and Palermo and Naples are located). The new miniseries is written, directed, and starring Ficarra & Picone. The beloved Sicilian duo returns with a five-episode holiday comedy launching in December. Along with Salvatore Ficarra & Valentino Picone, the cast also includes Katia Follesa & Barbara Tabita, along with Max Tortora, Sergio Vastano, Enrico Bertolino, Adelaide Massari, & Angelo Tosto, plus a special appearance by Giorgio Tirabassi.
