During the Anamnesis, the second quest of Mysteria Ecclesiae DLC in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2, players will have to find the cellar in the Monastery. A monastery is a big place, and Brother Celestine will ask you to investigate Brother Jaroslav, as he has been sneaking into the basement of the monastery. Unfortunately, Celestine does not know where Jaroslav goes, so it is up to the players to locate him. In this guide, we will tell you where to search the Monastery Cellar for the Anamnesis quest in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2.

The cellar is somewhere beneath the Monastery, and the search area for it is the whole monastery building. It is what confuses most of the players. If you explore the monastery, you will see multiple staircases leading to the basement. However, you might need to pick a couple of locks, depending on which route you take to the basement.

One of the straightforward ways to reach the cellar is to go through the staircase south of the central courtyard. If you look at the map, the staircase will have a cave icon. Equip the torch and go down the staircase to the basement. Look to the right, and just before a doorway, you will see an area with spilled wine. Here, you will get the option to examine the wine.

Examine the wine and jump over the wood to find the cellar door ahead. The cellar door is hidden underneath the same staircase from which you came down. As you find the cellar door, the quest will update, requiring you to find the key to the door in the cellar.

You cannot access the door right now and must pursue the quest further to obtain the key. Finding the key requires completing multiple objectives, which you can read from the linked guide above.
