Fisch Lantern Locations – Sythra’s Candle Quest

Struggling to find the Fisch Lantern Locations? They are sprinkled throughout the Cultist Lair in Fisch. Another side quest in this area requires you to find all nine ‘LEVIATHAN’ Note Locations!

Fisch Lantern Locations

Once you pick up the quest from Sythra, you are given ‘Sythra’s Candle‘, which you can use to light up the lanterns.

Where to Find Each Lantern

1 (Cultist Lair)

From the entrance of the Cultist Lair, head to the right to see a tall stone pillar. There is an unlit lantern on the floor in front of this pillar!

2 (Cultist Lair)

When speaking to Eldran in the Cultist Lair, look for a Cultist nearby who is wearing an eyepatch. Walk behind the Cultist to spot the lantern

3 (Hall of Whispers)

From the bookshelf to the right of the Hall of Whispers entrance, look for the bookshelf to the left. Head over to this other bookshelf to see a rock. The lantern is close by to this rock!

4 (Hall of Whispers)

Head to the entrance of the Hall of Whispers and look to the right. There is a bookshelf here, which you must walk past to find a lantern located between two stone pillars

5 (Hall of Whispers)

Walk past the fishing area in the Hall of Whispers until you see a tree on the right side. There’s a lantern to light here!

6 (Hall of Whispers)

There is a lantern on the right side of the rock that is nearby to the left bookshelf in the Hall of Whispers

7 (Passage of Oaths)

As you approach the fishing area of the Passage of Oaths, look to the left to see some mushrooms and a lantern

8 (Passage of Oaths)

When at the fishing area in the Passage of Oaths, look for a ledge, which you can get to by using your Glider. There’s a lantern on this ledge!

9 (Passage of Oaths)

From the Passage of Oaths entrance, look for one of the larger roots to spot a lantern

10 (Hallway to The Sanctum)

When you’re in the last area of the Cultist Lair, look for an NPC with horns, where you can find a lantern nearby

Why Are These Lanterns Important?

By finding all 10 of these lanterns and lighting them with Sythra’s Candle, you can complete Sythra’s side quest! To find Sythra, you must unlock the Passage of Oaths sub-location in the Cultist Lair.

While side quests reward you upon completion, you are also required to work through all of the Cultist Lair side quests so that you can obtain a key item called the ‘Dreamer’s Amulet’.
