The latest patch of Palia includes a brand-new story chapter with a new Temple of the Roots that players can pursue to reach the so-far-story moment in the game. Additionally, the 0.178 patch is all about flowers due to Spring and there are several new flowers available for players to plant and grow around their Housing Plot.
Planting and growing the flowers is based on a new flower system for which players will have to first get the seeds for the flowers and then plant them inside their Housing Plot to take care of them by watering them until they grow mature. This guide will provide you the information on how you can get all the new flowers in Palia to make a beautiful garden in your Housing Plot.
How to Get All the Flowers in Palia
There are ten flowers introduced in the latest patch of Palia that players can plant and grow by finding their seeds in the wild or purchasing them from Auni’s Bug Catching Guild Store. To get the flower seeds, players will have to catch the bugs in the Kilima Valley map zone. Every bug has a chance of dropping a specific flower seed and it can take multiple tries before players get a flower seed from catching the bug.
However, another thing worth mentioning is that all the bugs in Bahari Bay don’t have a chance of dropping any flower seed so, you must hunt the bugs only in Kilima Valley if you are looking to get flower seeds for free.
Additionally, as mentioned earlier, all the Flower Seeds can also be purchased from Auni’s Bug Catching Guild Store. Each flower seed will cost a certain amount of Gold which can cost you around 7 to 15 Gold which is not that expensive. So, if you are having a hard time finding each flower seed, you can simply buy it from Auni.
All flowers added in Palia are the following.
Gardenia Flower
Blue Hydrangea Flower
Rose Flower
Anemone Flower
Grimalkintail Flower
Tulip Flower
Chapaatail Flower
Lavender Flower
Forsythia Flower
Tiger Lily Flower
However, the players who are interested in finding each flower seed by catching the bugs can follow the table specified for each flower.

How to Plant and Grow Flowers in Palia
Upon getting the Flower Seeds either by catching the bugs throughout Kilima Valley or purchasing them from Auni’s Bug Catching Guild, you will be able to plant the flower seeds anywhere in your Housing Plot. The Flower Seeds are not required to be planted in Soil so, choose any spot you see fit for your garden and place the flower in the ground.
After planting the seeds, you need to water them daily (in-game) for three days straight to let them grow mature. Once they are mature, they will be ready for harvesting.
Are Flowers Used in Any Recipe?
As for now, there aren’t any recipes in the game that require any type of flower as a required material/ingredient. However, there are chances that in future updates there might be new recipes that will require certain flowers.
