“Lighten up, it’s Christmas! And it’s going to be fun!” Netflix has revealed the official trailer for a holiday romcom movie called A Merry Little Ex-Mas, the next holiday Hallmark Channel-esque Netflix offering this season. It’s set for a streaming debut in November, of course, to get everyone in a cheery (or not cheery) mood. Recently divorced Kate, played by Alicia Silverstone, hopes for one last perfect family Christmas before selling her house. But her holiday plans are hilariously derailed when her ex-husband unexpectedly introduces his younger & successful new girlfriend. With comedy, heart, plenty of holiday drama, A Merry Little Ex-Mas also stars Oliver Hudson as the ex, Jameela Jamil as new girl, Pierson Fodé, Wilder Hudson, Emily Hall, Timothy Innes, with Melissa Joan Hart, directed by Steve Carr (of Next Friday, Dr. Dolittle 2, Daddy Day Care, Paul Blart: Mall Cop).
