There are a ton of new features coming to Palia to make the sim adventure feel more alive and authentic. With the recent showcase of the Palia Roadmap Fall 2025, the Devs have confirmed the new seasonal events, quests, build together, and more. Today was the release of the next major update after the Fall Fantasy: Of Barns and Briars update in Palia. The new Palia update, Fall Fantasy: The Spiritfest Spectacle (Patch 0.196), is live now, bringing a new animal for the Ranching system, multiplayer Ranching feature, Spiritfest, and more.

New Animal: Goobi
For the expansion of the recent Ranching Skill, the new update brings a new animal for players to raise and care. The new animal is Goobi, a gooey, glorpy, and adorable animal to raise in your ranch. It comes with 6 different color traits and 3 different flower traits. Moreover, it follows the same visual pattern system as the rest of the animals. Acquiring Goobi will require players to reach Ranching Level 10 before they can purchase it from the Ranching Guild Store.
Multiplayer Feature in Ranching
Another great addition to the Ranching system is the Multiplayer feature. Now, a player can visit another player’s ranch and take care of animals together. Both players in a ranch will receive equal experience from petting and feeding the animals. Moreover, the animal items are shared between both players.

Spooky Moon Store, New Bulletin Board, and New Seasonal Insect
With the season of Fall, the Spooky Moon Store returns in Palia, this time with new items. Players can purchase both new and returning items from the Spooky Moon Store in the Kilima Village. Moreover, some items require completion of the new Bulletin Board quests. The theme of the new Bulletin Board is Spiritfest, with four bundles to complete. As players complete the bundles, they will increase friendship with Najuma, Spooky Fishing Bobber, a new flower in the spooky store, and the new Jack O’ Lantern Lure.
The Jack O’ Lantern Lure is a new seasonal item that lures Pumpkin Rockhoppers. The Pumpkin Rockhopper is a new limited-time insect to catch in this new update. Players can catch this new insect and display it at their housing plots to celebrate the fall season.
In addition to these key features, there are several improvements and a premium store update.
