To obtain the Elder Mossripper rod, you need to craft it! Make your way to the Ancient Isle and head to the Ancient Archives to find the Anvil, where you can craft a variety of fishing rods. The crafting recipe is as follows:

Elder Mossjaw

The Elder Mossjaw is a Secret rarity catch from the Temple in the Lost Jungle. The only preference it has is for nighttime, and if you use Glowworm as bait. The Progress Speed of the bar during the fishing minigame decreases by 97%, making it a tough fish to catch.

Mossy Core

The Mossy Core is a Secret rarity item that you can obtain by completing one of the trials within the Lost Temple. Currently, there is no specific trial that drops the item, so it’s best to work through all of them.

Shrouded Golden Sea Pearl

The Golden Sea Pearl is an Exotic rarity catch that you can only get by opening Clams at Roslit Bay. The Golden Sea Pearl has a drop chance of 0.16%! However, for the Elder Mossripper crafting recipe, you need a Golden Sea Pearl, which has the Shrouded mutation.

How to Get the Shrouded Mutation

To obtain Shrouded catches, you either need to use the Elder Mossripper rod (grants a 20% chance) or wait for it to appear randomly when fishing with any rod in the Lost Jungle. You can also get it from Appraising a catch, with a low chance of 0.03%.
