Disney Dreamlight Valley is getting a new free update, Return to Beast’s Castle, tomorrow, October 1st, 2025. It is a new free update, allowing players to visit the Beauty and the Beast Realm again. Players will meet two new characters in the Realm and help them with an eerie mystery in the castle. In addition to the main update content, the Devs also revealed the return of the Trick or Treat Event. The Trick or Treat Event will return to Disney Dreamlight Valley two weeks after the Return to Beast’s Castle update, on October 15, 2025.
Trick or Treat Event Coming Back to Disney Dreamlight Valley
The Trick or Treat event is coming back to the Valley, this time with a brand-new reward. Moreover, there will be some exciting changes for the event. The premise of the event is to gather different colors of candies around the Valley and use them to craft exclusive items. Moreover, there will be some exclusive event duties that offer unique rewards upon completion.
Each event duty is different and requires you to complete tasks. Some require you to grow 100 pumpkins, and some require you to consume all the different candies. In this year’s Trick or Treat event, players will have a chance to earn a new reward and all the returning ones from the previous year. If you are someone who has left out any rewards from last year, then you can earn them this time.
The Trick or Treat event will start on October 15, 2025, and end on October 31, 2025.
Haunted Floating Festival Will Arrive on October 22
In addition to the main Trick or Treat event for the fall season, there will be a brand-new festival. On October 22, a mysterious portal will appear in the Valley. Interacting with the portal will take players to an exclusive floating island where the Haunted Floating Festival will take place. This festival will have its own exclusive activities and rewards. Players will get to solve different puzzles, and each one will offer an exclusive reward. Moreover, for the duration of the festival, more puzzles will become available over time, allowing players to explore and earn rewards.
The Haunted Floating Festival will start on October 22, 2025, and end on November 11, 2025.
