99 Nights in the Forest Obsidiron Chest

The Obsidiron Chest is a new event badge questline introduced during the Meteor Shower update. To complete this badge and gain x3 Blue Flame and x5 Diamonds, you must craft, place, and then open an Obsidiron Chest. So, let’s get into how you do that.

On the third night, the sky will redden, and an ominous message will tell you that the sky is on fire. What follows are beams of light crashing down around the map, creating pools of lava and jagged crystals. Over the next few days, locate the impact zones and defeat the meteoric crabs that guard the crystals. Then, collect the crystals using your axe.

You’ll eventually find Raw Obsidiron, which appears as a grey ball with jagged black shards. Lift it into the air and drop it to crack its stony shell and get the Obsidiron fragments. Next, drop them into a lava pool to turn them into Scolding Obsidiron. Finally, move the Scolding Obsidiron into water to forge the Obsidiron Ingot.

Crafting The Obsidiron Chest

After this, locate the Red Anvil emblem on your map and travel to it. You’ll need to defeat the crabs inside before restoring the red anvil and unlocking the crafting recipes. When you’ve selected the Obsidiron Chest recipe, you’ll need to place all the materials onto the anvil to forge it. The recipe is as follows:

Place the Obsidiron Blueprint within the perimeters of your base and open the chest to get the Obsidiran Hammer. This weapon deals moderate damage to enemies, killing the meteoric crabs in around two swings, with the first swing dealing around 95% of their HP.
