99 Nights in the Forest Meteor Shower
When a Meteor Shower happens, well, the name gives it away! Meteors will rain down from the sky, and you will get a message appear on your screen saying “The sky is on fire”. Meteors will crash and land onto the map, which you will need to locate.
Meteor Crabs
Meteors will spawn Meteor Crabs. They resemble crabs, but with a black/purple tint on them. These are hostile creatures, which means they will attack when you get close to them. Your goal is to defeat them. However, it’s best to use a long-range weapon to do so, such as a rifle, as getting close puts you at risk of getting attacked.
Once you do defeat them, they can drop a Meteor Shard, as well as a Morsel, and a small chance for a Gold Shard.
How To Use The Meteor Anvil
Arguably, one of the best things this update added was the Meteor Anvil. This will unlock after a Meteor Shower event, and you can view where it is located on the map. When you use this Anvil, you will be able to craft items. However, you need to obtain Meteor Shards for this, which you get from Meteor Crabs, Meteor Crystals, and Obsidiron Crystals.
Place all of the Meteor Crystals onto the Meteor Anvil, and you will then be able to craft a variety of different items to help you in your gameplay. You can view the crafting recipes for everything you can craft on the Anvil.
