Acquiring the only One-Handed Machete weapon, the Duelist in Dying Light: The Beast, requires a different method than going to a specific location to get it. The Duelist weapon is sold by Doug, the trader at the Town Hall in the Old Town region. However, due to the randomization of the merchant’s shop, Doug will not always have Duelist in stock. Moreover, since the Duelist is a Legendary weapon, it only appears at Doug’s shop starting at Level 11.

The higher your level, the greater the chances of it appearing at Doug’s shop. The Duelist offers the following bonus stats.

However, there is a simple method that you can follow to randomize the shop. The method is as follows.
Leave the Town Hall from the main door.
Go straight through the courtyard to reach the staircase.
Come back to the Town Hall and visit Doug’s shop.
Every time you cross the Town Hall’s courtyard, Doug’s shop alters. It is the quickest way to randomize the shop and get the Legendary weapon you are hoping for.
