During the Life After Life main mission, players will get the objective to restore power at the Library Tower, north of Town Hall. The power restoration at the Library Tower will require you to connect the cable to the correct box at the top of the tower. However, before you get to that, you will first have to climb the tower.
How to Climb the Library Tower
Despite reaching the Library Tower by jumping over the rooftops from the Town Hall, the climb to the Library Tower begins from the ground. Go to the scaffolding beside the tower and climb up. Now, enter through the open window of the tower and go up the planks. It should take you to the higher floor. After that, jump to the red ledge along the wall to grab it. Start moving to the right and make a jump across to the other side. Make a jump to the wooden bar ahead, and then jump at the red tapestry on the right. Climb up, and it will take you to a room with the cable and a few boxes, where you need to find a way to restore the power.
How to Restore Power at the Library Tower
Upon reaching the floor with the power boxes, you need to connect a cable to rotate the gear with a metal bar sticking out of it. You need to hang onto the metal bar to jump onto the wooden bars and climb up to the top floor. To do so, go to the generator on the floor to find the electric box with cables. Interact with it to attach a cable and then go to the opposite side to plug in the other end of the cable. Once the gear starts turning, grab the metal bar.
Now, jump on the wooden bars ahead and climb up to the top. Clear the top floor of the infected and interact with the ladder to drop it. Head back down and unplug the cable from the box beside the moving gear. After that, head back up to the top floor by climbing the ladder. Lastly, connect the cable to the box on the top floor to restore the power at the Library Tower.
It will make the area a Safe Zone and give you 3,000 XP to level up.
