The Fiction Fan is one of the new Found Item quests in Palia added with patch 0.177 that players will get to start upon inspecting the imprisoned book in the Restricted Section of the Library. This mysterious book arouses suspicion and players will get to learn the true nature of the book by pursuing the quest.

How to Complete the Fiction Fan Quest in Palia
To pursue the Fiction Fan quest, players will first have to inspect the book inside the Restricted Section to initiate the quest. Players can only access the Restricted Section upon completing Caleri’s Friendship Level 3 quest, so make sure that you have completed it to go freely into the Restricted Section and start the quest.
Upon inspecting the book and starting the quest, make your way to Caleri and ask her about the locked-away book in the restricted section. She will tell you that it is the last book of the fictional series about the Fall of Humanity. She has kept away hidden from her twin sister, Elouisa as she doesn’t stop talking about it after she read the first book of the series.
After learning the true nature of the book, Caleri will agree to give the book to Elouisa and you will get the objective to get the book. Go back into the Restricted Section to get ‘A Terribly Written Book’ from the bookcase and then open the map to find Elouisa. Make your way to Elousia and surprise her with the book to conclude the quest.
