Exploring the World, Hadea, in Hell Is Us will let you come across several strange chests. These chests are different from regular chests and only unlock with Lymbic Rods. One of the early Lymbic Chests that you will come across in Hell Is Us is in the basement of Vitalis’ Home in the Village of Jova, Acasa Marshes. Gain Access to Vitalis’ Home
Before players can explore the protagonist’s home (Vitalis’ Home), they must get the Key to Vitalis’ Home from Victor Gaz. Victor Gaz is Vitalis’ apprentice. You can find Victor Gaz inside the tunnel with a red light, east of the Village of Jova. Head to the tunnel, clear out the enemies, and enter the small room in the tunnel to find Victor Gaz. Speak to Victor Gaz, and he will give you the Key to Vitalis’ Home.
After getting the Key, head out of the tunnel and make your way back to the Village of Jova. Vitalis’ Home is right across the Blacksmith (Forge) in the village. Moreover, there is a blue swing right next to the house. Once there, use the key to unlock the house’s door and go inside. Make your way down the staircase and use the ladder to go into the basement. Now, follow the path to the end, and the Lymbic Chest will be in the right corner at the last turn.
Find Two Lymbic Rods for the Chest
To find both of the Lymbic Rods, you must complete the picture puzzle in Vitalis’ Basement. Continue straight ahead from the chest to come across a locked door. You will have to enter a six-digit code to open the door. To identify the code, you must find and place three family pictures on the wall. For your precious time, “32-17-13” is the six-digit code for the door. Unlock the door and pick up the Lymbic Rod from the table on the right. While in the room, make sure to pick up the Vigil Note as well.
Now, for the second Rod, leave Vitalis’ Home and go to the Blacksmith Shop. It is right across Vitalis’ Home. Here, you will see Victor has returned from the tunnel. Go inside the shop, head to Victor. Before speaking to Victor, look at the back of the Red Toolbox on the right. The Lymbic Rod will be on the floor.
Open the Lymbic Chest in Vitalis’ Basement
After finding both of the Lymbic Rods, head back to the Lymbic Chest in Vitalis’ Basement. If you look at the chest closely, you will see two different symbols. You need to use the Rod with the exact same symbol to open the chest.
For the first slot, use the Lymbic Rod – Grief, W.
For the second slot, use the Lymbic Rod – Grief, Y.
Upon opening the Lymbic Chest in Vitalis’ Basement, you will receive the Lymbic Mending Glyph. Moreover, it will solve the Lymbic Chest – Acasa, Vitalis’ Basement Mystery.
