The Memory Mania event is back in Disney Dreamlight Valley, this time with more rewards. It is a limited-time returning event and will run until September 9, 2025. During the event, various event items will spawn at certain locations throughout the Valley. Obtaining the memories from certain items will help players complete the event memories and reward players with exclusive Inside Out 2 companions and items. This is the complete guide to the Memory Mania Event in Disney Dreamlight Valley, including where to find all items, complete all duties, and get rewards.
Memory Mania Event in Disney Dreamlight Valley
The Memory Mania is a time-limited event in Disney Dreamlight Valley available from August 27, 2025, to September 9, 2025. During this time period, there are four specific items that you need to find to collect a respective color of memory.
Hockey Trophy – Reveals a blue memory piece.
Hockey Equipment – Reveals a yellow memory piece.
Birthday Cake – Reveals a pink memory piece.
Riley’s Phone – Reveals a red memory piece.
Furthermore, finding each item completes a certain memory corresponding to the color of the memory. There are four memories in total, and you will have to find 6-10 memory pieces/corresponding items to complete each memory. Fortunately, there are certain places for each item where you will be able to find them several times throughout the day.
Hockey Trophy/Blue Memory Piece – Spawn in Scrooge’s Store and Dream Castle.
Hockey Equipment/Yellow Memory Piece – Spawn inside Mickey, Goofy, and Merlin’s House.
Birthday Cake/Pink Memory Piece – Spawn in Moana, WALL-E, and Ratatouille Realms.
Riley’s Phone/Red Memory Piece – Spawn outside the Chez Remy building.
NOTE: The items will respawn every 30 minutes at their respective locations. However, Riley’s Phone spawns once every hour.
All Memory Mania Duties in Disney Dreamlight Valley
There are eight duties for the Memory Mania Event that you will be able to complete by collecting the memory pieces and finishing the memories. Five of the duties are returning from the previous year’s event, and three are new.
Memorabilia – Collect 200 event items/memories. Any memory piece you gather will count towards this duty.
Feeling Nostalgic – Complete ‘Blue’ memory by obtaining 6 blue memory pieces.
Feeling Expansive – Complete ‘Yellow’ memory by obtaining 6 yellow memory pieces.
Feeling Joyful – Complete ‘Pink’ memory by obtaining 6 pink memory pieces.
Feeling Accomplished – Complete ‘Blue, Yellow, and Pink’ memories.
Get Nostalgic! – Complete ‘Red’ memory by obtaining 10 red memory pieces.
Embrace the Blues – Hang out with Sadness for 120 minutes (2 hours).
Spark Joy – Hang out with Joy for 120 minutes (2 hours).

To unlock all the Memory Mania event rewards in Disney Dreamlight Valley, you will have to complete all the Memory Mania Duties.
