How to Complete the Get Up and Glow Quest in Disney Dreamlight Valley
Starting the Quest
The Get Up and Glow quest starts automatically by completing the Dream On quest. Joy will come to the Valley as a villager, but Sadness will still be in the Realm. Players need to go back to the Headquarters and create another dream with the help of Sadness so that they can bring Sadness as well to the Valley.
Return to the Headquarters and speak with Sadness
Go to the Dream Castle and interact with the Inside Out Realm door to get to the Headquarters. Now, speak with Sadness to talk about the premise of the dream. After speaking with Sadness, interact with the elevator to go to the Long Term Memory area with her. Once there, speak with Sadness again, and she will tell you to look for concert musical memories.
Search for Music Notes
After speaking with Sadness, remove the rocks blocking the path using the Royal Pickaxe. Continue ahead along the path, and you will see the first music notes on the left side. Keep following the path until you see the flippers on the right. Before going there, go to the left side to find another music note. Go to the flippers on the right side to see that one of the routing controls will be missing a button. To find the button, go to the flippers on the right side. Adjust the flippers horizontally to open the path and break the rocks inside the room. The third music note will also be inside this room. Pick up the button and then go back to the routing controls to place the button. Now, adjust the flippers horizontally and enter the room. Pick up the final music note and then speak with Sadness.
Go to the recall tube and place the memories
After speaking with Sadness, go back to the entrance of Long Term Memory. Interact with the recall tube to place all four concert musical memories. Once done, interact with the tube again to send the memories to the Headquarters.
Return to the Dream Production Studio
Now, interact with the Exit portal to go back to the Headquarters. After that, go and interact with the portal to go to the Dream Production Studio. Once there, speak with Sadness.
Decorate the stage with concert furniture items
After speaking with Sadness, go into the furniture mode to start decorating the stage. You need to pick up the concert furniture items from the platform on the right side of the stage. Pick and place the two light stands, two speakers, a DJ Stand, and the confetti machine on the stage. Once done, speak with Sadness, and she will tell you to dress up in something Bold. Open the Wardrobe and navigate to the requests section to find all Bold clothing items. Equip any three Bold clothing items to dress up like a pop star.
Bring the Go Go Glow Light Stick to Sadness and Begin the Dream
After dressing up, interact with Sadness to give her the Go Go Glow Light Stick. Joy gives you the Go Go Glow Light Stick at the end of the previous Realm quest. After giving the light stick to Sadness, go and interact with the microphone to begin the dream. Once done, leave the Dream Production Studio and go back to the Headquarters. Speak with Sadness to check in with her.
Welcome Sadness to the Valley
After speaking with Sadness, it’s time to leave the Realm. Go back to the Valley and watch Sadness appear in front of the fountain in the Plaza. Take a picture with Sadness to welcome her to the Valley. Once done, speak with Sadness and go through the dialogues to conclude the Get Up and Glow quest.
