“It’s growing a new host to attach itself to… that’s how it blossoms & affects the entire ecosystem.” Uh oh. Roadside Attractions / Lionsgate have unveiled the official trailer for an intriguing contemporary political thriller titled Anniversary, from filmmaker Jan Komasa. He is a Polish director best known for his award-winning film Corpus Christi from 2019 criticizing religion in Poland. He’s back with this brand new thriller about American turning into extra fascist & crazy – through a program called “The Change.” A provocative thriller about a very close-knit family that is torn apart as a movement known as “The Change” envelops the country. The excellent ensemble cast includes Diane Lane, Kyle Chandler, Madeline Brewer, Zoey Deutch, Phoebe Dynevor, Mckenna Grace, Daryl McCormack, plus Dylan O’Brien. Intriguing to note that these members of “The Change” wear nametags like Mormons do, as well as how the American flag in this is depicted with the blue stars in the middle. Hmmm. This looks very prickly and provocative – and I am definitely looking forward to watching it now. In theaters this October – check out the first trailer below. // Continue Reading ›
