Type Soul Vow of Luck
Vows in Type Soul grant you various effects, but in this guide, we’re discussing the Vow of Luck in particular. It’s a bit of a gamble… literally… but it can be worth it!
How to Get Vow of Luck
The main way of getting the Vow of Luck is by taking part in the Culling Games game mode. Your team (faction) must collect as many points as possible, and if your team has the most points, you win! The Vow of Luck is a potential reward drop. Beware, though, as the Culling Games are pretty tough and unfair.
The other method of obtaining the Vow of Luck is by visiting the Bamboo Hat Man NPC in Ring 3 of Hell. This NPC stands within the maze, and you must take part in a battle against him to get a random Vow. There are currently four Vows in Type Soul at the moment, so it’s a 1 in 4 chance!
What is the Vow of Luck?
The Vow of Luck has two effects that can occur. The first is depleting your Reiatsu with the Bankrupt effect, and the second is Jackpot, which increases your DMG output of each of your moves by 5%. There’s also Jackpot Fever, which works the same as Jackpot, but lasts a lot longer than the former.
If you manage to get the Jackpot effect when using Vow of Luck three times in a row, your overall power increases. But, the chances of getting three Jackpots can be rare; however, it’s a 50/50 roll each time you activate it, so it’s not too bad!
Now, to get the Vow of Luck effect to activate, you need to reach the specified DMG threshold in combat.
