Sky TV has revealed the main official trailer for a new action thriller series titled simply Atomic, which will be out for streaming in the UK starting this August. No US release set yet but there will be one soon enough. This British production is a new action-adventure series inspired by the non-fiction book “The Atomic Bazaar: Dispatches from the Underground World of Nuclear Trafficking” by William Langewiesche. Two civilians get caught up in a cartel’s uranium smuggling op across North Africa towards the Middle East. Facing a nuclear threat, they must decide whether to save themselves or stop the bomb’s delivery while evading agencies & traffickers. “They’re on the run, and trouble’s not far behind.” Atomic stars Alfie Allen & Shazad Latif as Max & JJ who end up on the run together, with Samira Wiley from the CIA on their tail, plus a cast including Brian Gleeson, Franklin Virgüez, and Stuart Martin.
