Banishers: Ghosts of New Eden has several bosses that players will get to encounter including both the main bosses of the story and the optional bosses. One of the main bosses that players will get to defeat in the main story is Iniquitous Court during the ‘Inkwell’ main quest.

How to Defeat Iniquitous Court in Banishers: Ghosts of New Eden
The Iniquitous Court is a three-phased boss fight that will require you to fight red-ooze blobs who will shape as Red’s Shadow and Antea’s Shadow in the fight. In each phase, you will get to fight a shadow made of red-ooze and as you attack the shadow, it will turn into a blob from time to time. It is your queue to attack the blob to actually deplete the HP of Iniquitous Court. Destroying the blob by depleting its HP will eliminate one of the members of the court which will initiate the next phase.
This boss fight is not difficult as the shadow enemies have the same attacks as the protagonists and if you see a charged attack incoming, dodge to the side to counter the attack and follow it with a charged attack of your own and if you have a charged Banishment gauge, feel free to perform the banishment to deal extensive damage to the shadow enemies.
1st Phase
In the first phase of the boss fight, you will fight Red’s Shadow who has the same sword combo as Red (protagonist) and it can be parried easily. Wait for the shadow to strike the sword and quickly press the parry button to take advantage and land your charged attacks to deal decent damage. However, be aware of the charged attacks as they cannot be blocked. Look for the orange circle queue to identify the incoming charged attack and then press the dodge button to counter it and then follow it with additional attacks.
Throughout the fight with Red’s Shadow, he will turn into an ooze blob from time to time. You need to attack the blob to deplete the HP of Iniquitous Court and once you have depleted the first segment of health, you will be able to banish Red’s Shadow which will initiate the second phase.
2nd Phase
The second phase will let you fight Antea’s Shadow who has all the spectral abilities of Antea (Protagonist). It is best to stick to Antea to fight Antea’s Shadow as you will be able to deal more damage to her using the Spectral abilities. However, you can switch to Red but the regular attacks will only do minimal damage but the Banishment will be efficient against the shadow.
Similar to the first phase, Antea’s Shadow will also turn into a blob that you must hit to deplete the health of Iniquitous Court. Upon depleting the second segment of health, you will be able to perform banishment on Antea’s Shadow which will initiate the final phase.
3rd Phase
In the third and final phase, you will encounter both Red’s and Antea’s Shadows together. You will have to be quick in this phase as you will have to switch between Red and Antea frequently to fight the respective shadow enemy. Make sure to attack the blobs as soon as they appear to deplete the boss’s HP.
Once you have depleted the third and final health segment, you will be able to perform the banishment on one of the shadow enemies which will conclude the boss fight.
