There’s a nifty new companion app for PS5, PS4 trophies that trophy hunters might want to check out right now. Made by a fellow PlayStation player, PlatSeekers seems to be off to a great start with a positive response from users, and it comes with some pretty handy features.
New fan-made app tracks PS5, PS4 trophies and comes with handy features
There aren’t a lot of options when it comes to trophy tracking apps. The official PlayStation App is bare bones in this particular aspect, and it’s not available in a large number of countries. Frankly, I’m surprised that PSNProfiles hasn’t filled in this void since the website is a pain to use on mobile devices, but I digress.
Enter PlatSeekers. The app is completely free, and has no adds or any premium content that requires paying to upgrade. Its creator — Reddit user hectroll — lists the following initial features, with more coming soon:
Real-time sync with your PSN profile
Progress tracking for every game
Compare trophies side-by-side with friends
Exclusive stats and insights based on your trophy data
Watchlist for the trophies you’re planning to get next
Trophy cabinet to showcase your best achievements
A new way to share your trophies on social media
The app is still new, so you may encounter a few issues here and there, but hectroll seems very active and the app is continuously being updated.
The caveat? PlatSeekers is curently only available on Apple devices, but an Android version is in process. Check it out!
