Chi is the new currency of the Grow a Garden Zen update, and in exchange for it, you can get a variety of items. For example, limited-time seeds, crates, cosmetics, and more! But, to get all this, you’ll need to know how to get Grow a Garden Chi!

How To Get Grow a Garden Chi

To get this currency, you need to channel crops that have the Tranquil mutation by trading them with either the Tanuki or the Zen Channeler found in the middle of the map.

Depending on the types of crops you hand over will determine how much Chi you get. The rarer the crops, the more Chi you will earn. If a crop also has Gold or Rainbow mutations, you will get more Chi.

Tranquil Weather

Crops become Tranquil during the Tranquil weather event. This happens every hour on the xx:00 mark. It will last 10 minutes, and when active, the sky will change colour. Every 30 seconds during this event, crops have the chance to get the Tranquil mutation. If something has this mutation, it will get a rippling effect. Their value will also increase by x20.

Why Do You Need Chi?

Once you hand in crops with the Tranquil mutation, you will earn Chi. You can use this to grow the Zen Tree. Each Stage of growth requires a certain amount of Chi, and as you progress through the stages, you will get rewards.
