“One Night. One Decision. Everything Changes.” Inaugural Entertainment + Relativity Media have unveiled an official trailer for a film titled The Knife, a home invasion horror thriller marking the feature directorial debut of actor Nnamdi Asomugha. Asomugha is the former All-Pro NFL defensive back from Los Angeles who decided to get into acting (in Crown Heights, Sylvie’s Love) after finishing football. Now he’s directing his first film, which he co-wrote with indie filmmaker Mark Duplass. After a home invasion, a young family is pushed to their breaking point as a relentless detective unearths secrets they’ve fought to keep buried. This premiered at the 2024 Tribeca Film Festival last year and it opens in theaters nationwide this August. Starring Nnamdi Asomugha, Academy Award winner Melissa Leo, Aja Naomi King, Manny Jacinto, Amari Price, and Aiden Price.
