“He wasn’t brought into our life for any good reason…” Dark Sky Films has unveiled an official trailer for an indie horror thriller called Death Letter Blues, marking the feature directorial debut of two new up-and-coming filmmakers named Michael Stevantoni & Strack Azar. They both wrote and directed this, and it premiered back in 2023 in Austin. Now finally arriving on VOD and in a few theaters this August for anyone interested in finding out what’s going on in this small town. “I know what you did…” A small town is rattled by the mysterious death of “Feral Boy,” a local legend found in the woods as a child. Father Moss, a priest with a loose grip on the faith, uncovers haunting parallels between this tragedy and his own nightmares in this Southern Gothic psychological horror thriller film. The film stars Sherman Augustus as Father Moss, Karole Foreman, Ramsay Midwood, Arianna Ngnomire, and Keylor Leigh.
