Progressing through the main story of Death Stranding 2: On the Beach will bring you to the Motherhood to recover the old BB Pod. It is the first time that you will meet the Motherhood. However, before you can do that, you have to get past a security door. The security door requires a four-digit code, which the game does not tell you directly. In this guide, we will tell you how to get the Motherhood Door Code in Death Stranding 2: On the Beach.
How to Get the Motherhood Door Code in Death Stranding 2: On the Beach
The door code for the Motherhood base is unique for every player of Death Stranding 2: On the Beach. It is because the actual code for the door is a player’s birthday date that they enter at the start of the game. The game does not tell you directly that you have to enter your birthday to open the door. For us, the code for the door was “0803” (MM/DD), as we entered this at the start of the game for our birthday. Now, each player should remember their birthday date. Otherwise, they might struggle to get past the door.
NOTE: You only have to open the door with a code for the first time you come to the Motherhood facility.
Check the Motherhood Databank to learn about the code
Now, if you are someone who does not remember what date they mentioned at the start of the game, there is a way to know it. All you have to do is check “The Motherhood” Databank from the Corpus menu.
Open the Corpus menu and scroll down to the “Facilities” section of the Databank. After that, look for “The Motherhood” title. Select it and then scroll down. Here, the description will mention that “the code required to open the door is the date of your own birth”. Underneath this line, you will see a prompt to reveal the date. Press the Square button to reveal the code for the Motherhood Door Code.
Now, interact with the door console and enter the code to open the door. Head down to the facility, which will trigger a cutscene, and meet the Motherhood.
