Dig Totems Guide

Totems apply temporary area effects, allowing any player within their radius to experience enhancements and buffs for their duration. Unlike Charms, which only buff the wearer, Totems have a social aspect where, if another player adds a Totem, it forms a Totem Stack. Totem Stacks can have up to 3 Totems before capping. These stacks don’t expire until all Totems within the stack have finished.

Shop Totems

These Totems are the easiest to source, found only in different shops across the map of Dig. So long as you have the funds, you can get your hands on these.

Chronos Totem
Cost: $12,000Location: Cinder ShoresAbility: Applies a +25% Item Age for 20 minutes. Triggers after 10 dug items.
Glistening Totem
Cost: $12,000Location: Cinder ShoresAbility: +200% Shiny (3x Value) chance for 15 minutes. Triggers after 10 dug items.
Augmented Totem
Cost: $15,000Location: Alona JungleAbility: +50% mutation chance for 20 minutes. Triggers after 15 dug items.
Celestial Totem
Cost: $20,000Location: MeteorAbility: +50% Celestial mutation chance (4x Value) for 15 minutes. Triggers after 15 dug items.

These Totems can alternatively be bought with Robux; however, where’s the fun in that? If you’re committed to the grind, you can earn these for free by completing several questlines.

Essence Totem
Questline: Every 7th reward from Tom’s Bakery Questline.Ability: +50% EXP gain for 30 minutes.
Arcane Totem
Questline: Every 9th reward from the Penguins Pizza Delivery Questline.Ability: +15 Luck for 30 minutes.
Monarch Totem
Questline: Every 5th reward from the Combat Guilds Questline.Ability: +25% Boss DMG for 30 minutes.

Misc Totems

For any Totem obtained outside of the norm. These odd few have unique obtainments, making them trickier to source.

Spore Totem
Obtainment: 10% chance to find when using the Spore Spade Shovel.Ability: +6 Luck for 1 minute and 40 seconds on activation.
