When speaking to the Georgia NPC, you don’t get much information about the latest Grow a Garden update. So, what is the Grow a Garden Summer Harvest event? In short, you’re required to get Harvest Points, which later turn into Summer Harvest Rewards.

What Is The Grow a Garden Summer Harvest Event?

The Summer Harvest is a limited-time event that is filled with summer-themed fruits, summer eggs, gear, and other items. It began on the 21st of June, 2025, and it will end on the 5th of July, 2025.

How Does It Work?

You’ll notice in the middle of the map, there is an NPC and a large wheelbarrow. Every hour at xx:00, a Summer Harvest will begin and last 10 minutes. You need to collect as many summer fruits as you can and hand them in. I find it easier to speak to the NPC, who will sort through them and deposit all the summer fruits.

You will then get Harvest Points, which go towards obtaining rewards. You will get these rewards once the event ends, and it will appear on screen letting you know what you get. There are point requirements for each reward rarity:

Other Event Changes

You may have noticed some other things have changed during the event.

Seed Shop

The Seed Shop has changed! Sam has been replaced by Tom for the duration of this event, and the seeds you could once buy have now been replaced with summer seeds, aside from a few that have remained.

There are also new Pet Eggs available. Of course, they’re all summer-themed.

Turn a tree into a seed.

Tanning Mirror

Has the chance to attract sunlight during the Heat Wave Climate Event, giving crops the Sundried mutation. This increases the value by x85.

Cosmetics

There is also a ton of new cosmetic items, alongside two new crates that also have different cosmetics inside.
