“He is definitely good at keeping secrets.” Dogwoof has unveiled an official trailer for a documentary film titled The Last Spy, an intriguing tale of one of the CIA’s top spies after World War II. This first premiered at the 2025 Munich Film Festival last year and played at a few other festivals since then, including the 2026 Palm Springs Film Festival earlier this year. A riveting portrait of 100-year-old CIA spymaster Peter Sichel (who passed away last year at age 102). From escaping Nazi Germany as a Jewish refugee to becoming the first CIA chief in Berlin and also a key player in Cold War espionage. When the CIA urged him not to publish his memoirs, Sichel chose to tell his story his way – unredacted. I enjoy when they reveal all and tell the truth! So exceptionally fascinating. // Continue Reading ›
