A new co-op building sim called Salvation Denied is preparing for its launch. The game’s playtest is now live for PC players and will run until March 31st, 2026. You can invite friends through Steam and bring up to 3 additional players into a session.
The playtest is available on Steam for PC only, and Steam Deck support is not available for now. The playtest includes the first scenario, where you can build a Signal Tower, the first game location, a building powered by the HAVOK physics engine, and tools like the Gravity Gun.
It’s the kind of game where things go wrong more often than they go right
Salvation Denied is a chaotic co-op building sim for 1-4 players where teams use heavy machinery and ridiculous tools to build wild constructions. The game runs entirely on physics, so every block has weight, inertia, and affects the stability of whatever you build.
An overloaded support, bad balance, or a rushed decision can cause an entire tower to collapse like dominoes. Physics is basically the main judge of whether your structure deserves to survive. Watch the trailers below to get an idea of the gameplay.
The game focuses a lot on co-op gameplay that is both funny and stressful at the same time. You’ll have access to personal construction gadgets like a gravity gun, foam gun, jetpack, and other tools, with each player taking on a role on the construction site.
Salvation Denied also includes challenges with more difficult scenarios. There are unusual scenarios, modes with harsh limits, random blocks, strange shapes, and restrictions on materials and time.
You can play the game solo or in co-op. Solo play is more controlled and personal. However, the game is clearly designed around co-op gameplay.
Salvation Denied is being developed by Firevolt and published by Digital Vortex Entertainment. The full game is planned to launch in Fall 2026 on PC via Steam, followed by PS5 and Xbox Series X|S in 2027.
