How to Complete the Nightly Terrors Quest in Palia
The Nightly Terrors quest becomes available after reaching Friendship Level 2 with Ulfe and completing the “Sleepless in the Elderwood” quest. Speak with Ulfe daily and bring him his favorite gifts to easily increase the friendship level. At friendship level 2, a quest marker will appear on Ulfe. Speak with Ulfe to trigger the Nightly Terrors quest for him.
Meet Ulfe at his Old House
Ulfe’s house is in the new location behind the echo wall at the Elderwood Central Stables. Cross the echo wall and follow the quest marker to reach Ulfe’s old house. Once there, speak with Ulfe.
Dig around to find an Umbraan Recipe
After speaking with Ulfe, equip the Hoe and start digging the dirt patches in Ulfe’s house. Dig through all five dirt patches to find the Journal. Moreover, you will find a sack of Jewels as well, so use it to get a Garnet, an Emerald, and a Platinum Bar. Upon finding the Journal, bring it to Ulfe.
Talk to Tamala
Unfortunately, Ulfe and Subira will not be able to understand the recipe. Go to Tamala and ask her if she can translate the recipe. Tamala will help you understand the recipe, unlocking the S’mores recipe.
Make S’mores for Ulfe
After learning the recipe, you need to make S’mores for Ulfe. S’mores dish is cooked at a campfire using the following ingredients.
2x Rice
1x Sugar
1x Kopaa Nuts
Go to your campfire at the housing plot and interact with it to see the recipe. Select the recipe and click on the “Make” option to start cooking S’mores. It will take 15 seconds for 2x S’mores to cook.
Return to Ulfe
Once done, go back to Ulfe to hand him S’mores. Go through the dialogues, and the quest will conclude.
