Crimson Desert offers a lot of cool design armor sets for Kliff that players can acquire through exploration. Exploration plays a crucial role in strengthening your character by finding better weapons and armor pieces. One of the most unique Armor pieces that players can acquire during the early chapters is the Frostcursed Armor Set. It is a black armor set that gives a high villain look to the character. Moreover, it offers a high Ice/Cold resistance, perfect for exploring the snowy areas of Pywell. In this guide, we will tell you how to get the Frostcursed Armor Set in Crimson Desert.
All Frostcursed Armor Set Pieces in Crimson Desert
There are five Frostcursed Plate pieces to complete the Frostcursed Armor Set. All of these pieces are in the northern area of Demeniss, the capital of Pywell. It is the second region that players can visit while following the main story in Chapter 5. Below, we have listed the armor pieces along with their locations to complete the Frostcursed Armor Set.
1. Frostcursed Plate Helm
To find the Frostcursed Plate Helm, head to the Chattering Rocks location, north of the Demeniss region. If you are struggling with the location, ride directly north of the letter “D” of Demeniss on the map, and you will find the Chattering Rocks.
After arriving at the ruins, you will see a ruin with a ladder on its side. You need to head inside this very ruin by going through the leaves. Moreover, you can also burn the leaves to reveal the entry. As you enter, you will find a treasure chest.
Loot the chest to get the Frostcursed Plate Helm.
2. Frostcursed Plate Cloak
To find the Frostcursed Plate Cloak, head to the northwest of the Chattering Rocks to come across the Sanctum of Expiation. This ruin is on a separate road from the main one, and you can spot it on the map easily.
Once there, you have to fight a horde of enemies. After defeating the enemies, head to the central section of the ruin and enter the room on the left. Here, you will spot some thorns blocking the way. You need to burn the Thorns by burning them. To do so, activate the Blinding Flash ability and do the Focus Light action while looking at the Thorn. This will burn the thorns, and you will be able to go ahead.
Now, crouch and follow to the end of the path to find a treasure chest. Loot the treasure chest to get the Frostcursed Plate Cloak.
NOTE: There is a spike trap in the chamber. You will get stuck in the chamber after getting the Cloak. Save the game and load the save file to spawn outside the Sanctum.
3. Frostcursed Plate Gloves
To find the Frostcursed Plate Gloves, you need to head east from the previous location. You will reach a large pond with land in the middle. It is the Denn River.This location is directly above the letter “M” of Demeniss on the map.
Once you are at the pond, you will spot a waterfall. You need to get behind the waterfall by using the Stab skill. Go close to the waterfall and press R1 + Triangle (PS5) to perform the stab skill, and get across the waterfall. Now, follow the path ahead to find a treasure chest.
Loot the treasure chest to get the Frostcursed Plate Gloves.
4. Frostcursed Plate Boots
To find the Frostcursed Plate Boots, head north of the previous location. Follow the water trail coming from above until you come across another waterfall.
You will see two waterfalls on top of each other. The one you need to enter is the bottom one. Repeat the same procedure of using the Stab skill to go through the waterfall. Loot the chest inside the hidden area to get the Frostcursed Plate Boots.
5. Frostcursed Plate Armor
To find the Frostcursed Plate Armor, the final piece of the armor set, head further north until you come across another water pattern and waterfall. You will be at the Smoking Lands area.Here, you need to go in front of the double waterfall coming from above.
Once you are at the location, stand in front of the right waterfall and use the Stab skill to go through it. As you cross through, you will see a giant rock blocking the path. Use the Force Palm skill to break the rock and clear the path. This will reveal a Gold Mine. There are plenty of Gold nodes in this cave that you can mine to get Gold Ores.
Moreover, there will be a treasure chest that you need to loot to get the Frostcursed Plate Armor.
