HexaNeph Games is an indie game developer and publisher that just dropped an announcement trailer for their next title. It’s an adventure RPG called Alarial’s Blessing. HexaNeph has been working on it for a while, and are planning to launch a Kickstarter campaign soon.

To give you more details, here’s how the story unfolds in Alarial’s Blessing. It follows three wandering mercenaries named Kal, Tyranel and Mina. And then there’s the looming presence of a mysterious and lonely goddess named Alarial, who refuses to let them die.
It’s a tragic tale that unfolds through travel, choices and the consequences that come with them. You take on the role of the trio as they move between towns, picking up mercenary work and dealing with strange clients.
On the way, they also hunt monsters and poke around strange and scary places. It’s all set in the continent of Vollun, which is filled with quiet magic and mysteries. Historically, it drew travellers from all over the world, but things have changed.
Most people now stick to the safety of villages and cities, offering prayers to the goddess Alarial. They’ve left the dangerous jobs to mercenaries willing to risk the roads. Outside the safe zones, the land is still wild, with ruins, creatures and stories.
There’s no direct quest tracking system in this adventure RPG, telling you exactly where to go or what to do next in Alarial’s Blessing. Instead, Kal keeps a journal, jotting down notes and details that you piece together.
Some maps are reliable, others are vague, and occasionally they might lead straight into danger. You can also ignore maps entirely and learn the world through its landmarks. Conversations with locals can lead to rumours, which might turn into something meaningful, or might not.
HexaNeph’s adventure RPG Alarial’s Blessing definitely looks interesting. There’s no release date yet, but we’ll be sure to fill you in once the devs make the announcement. Until then, you can wishlist the title on Steam.
